1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using Source to Social ("the Service") at sourcetosocial.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, free users, and paid subscribers.

2. What Source to Social Does

Source to Social is an AI-powered content generation tool. You provide source content — a blog post, product description, video transcript, or idea — and the Service generates platform-native copy for social media, e-commerce listings, and other marketing uses. Output is generated using third-party AI models, including Claude by Anthropic.

3. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:

  • Free: 5 AI generations per calendar month. No credit card required.
  • Creator ($19/month): Unlimited generations, unlimited YouTube transcript pulls, and access to SEO to Sell features.

Plan features and pricing may change. We will give reasonable notice before changing the price of an active paid subscription.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and you retain access through the end of the period you paid for.

5. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you have a billing issue or were charged in error, contact us at support@sourcetosocial.com and we will make it right.

6. Your Content and AI Output

You own the content you paste into the Service. You also own the AI-generated output produced from your content, subject to any applicable third-party AI provider terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights. Do not paste content that belongs to someone else and represent it as your own input.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses AI to generate content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking responsibility for any content you publish that was generated by the Service. We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, or fitness for any particular purpose.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated tools
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or deceptive material
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or authentication systems
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

9. Intellectual Property

The Source to Social name, logo, codebase, UI design, and all proprietary content are owned by the Service operator and protected by copyright law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our brand, trademarks, or code.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Source to Social and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Source to Social and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you by email if you have an account. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of California.
